Nathan tweeted a few weeks ago that he managed to slip in a Firefly reference in one of the early episodes of the season. I guess that was it. I’ll just have to fast-forward the DVR to see this one.
There’s a Oct. 5th interview with Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic over at Huffington Post where Nathan states not to look for the Firefly easter egg before the Halloween episode:
As cool as it would be to have Castle dress up as Mal and believe me when I say there just isn’t words for this. I had a wackier thought, a convention or something where they have to deal with Nathan Fillion dressed as Mal as part of the convention.
I’m sure it’s just him dressing up for Halloween (insert fan girl scream already) but how come on Castle and Beckett taking on Nathan Fillion and the rest? Browncoats around the world’s heads would explode

“Insert fangirl scream already” – Funny! I actually heard that in my head! I fully intend to rip that one off from you at some point.
Man- I can’t wait! I would love to see Nathan dressed up like Mal again- especially on his new show :P
