I loved last night’s ‘The Office’ cold open. A silent game makes so much sense in that office. I mean, where else would salespeople ignore ringing phones just so they could add another minute or two to their record of silence?

The Office – Give us a real prank!

I’m still trying to decide if there’s something sweet going on between Darryl and Val, or if it’s just something for Darryl to do now that the race for regional manager is over. His changing into a tux went a long way toward supporting the idea that there’s something there. That was nice.

As the various winter holidays rush toward us, the programming on the televisions begins to slow down. That opens the door for things like the Victoria’s Secret models beating everything else on the networks. On cable, ‘The Walking Dead’ went out with a bang, literally and figuratively.
