Bones has been flirting (pun certainly intended) with the Tempe and Seely relationship for a while now. They’ve got great chemistry, which is honestly one of the best parts of the show (and probably my favorite pairing on television).
Somewhere along the way, the heart of the show became the big “will they/won’t they” question that hounds a lot of TV shows these days. Well, I’m here to take a stand and proclaim that I’m tired of it. Writers who talk about how letting certain couples get together kills the chemistry, well I say to you (politely, because that’s the way that I roll): stop being lazy. In fact, I’ve even put together a collection of reasons after the jump that define exactly why these two in particular should hook up.
Reason Number One (And, well, the only reason): There’s no good damn reason not to.
Seriously! Do you think the banter dies because they’re having it in the living room instead of the diner? No! Do you think that Booth will stop being goofy next to the more serious Dr. Brennan? Heck no! Do you think that I’ll stop obsessing about how great these two are together anytime soon? Well, um, yeah, probably not that either.
The characters are so well crafted, and the actors have so much chemistry, that Hart Hanson needs to trust the writers room and the actors to show us the great story that we all (OK, at least that I) know it will be.
So get over it and put these two together!
The end of tonight’s episode was a little weird for Bones. I was not liking that it was looking like it might be Karin, but the final misdirection of it being a random crime was odd. I’m not sure that they’ve ever pulled the murder out of thin air like that. Also, the final shot of just fading away on an image of Levi was also unusual.

thought that there was something off about the daughter.
I also thought that it was pretty odd that Bones didn’t seem to connect the victim with the Amish more quickly than she did.
Considering she is an anthropologist and the Amish aren’t that “unknown”
Who is Dana Davis he refers to? Which charater did she play that was recast? IMDB.com has nothing.

I guess the short answer is that she’s now on 10 Things I Hate About You.
Who cares about the recast? She was in one show that no one will really remember anyways.
Bones this season sucks, the cases are fine, but there have been several times where Dr. Brennan is so stupid it’s insane. She was slowly growing as a character, starting to have some common sense and then she stopped and now has the common sense of a 1st grader.
The show needs to get it’s act together, they need to have an ongoing mystery and story arcs.
I do have to agree with Oreo on Bones being stupid. That is far and away my biggest problem with the show.

I care about the recast, or I wouldn’t have mentioned it. I like Dana Davis as an actress, and liked her on the show.
And to both Brett and Oreo … Stupid isn’t the right word. I’ll give you socially inept, but not stupid.
Most people who aren’t blogging about the show will hardly even remember she now has a kid. :-p
I think stupid is the right word, she used to be “socially inept” and then slowly got better. This season there have been several times where she has been so out of it that she is now just stupid to everythnig that isn’t about a bone. It’s actually getting so annoying I’m thinking about ditching the show for FlashForward.
Should’t the title of the article be “Why can’t Booth and Brennan get together?” It says “Bones and Brennan” right now and, well, they are the same person.
Yeah wow, totally missed that. Fixed.
