Diary of a Weeds Virgin – The Botwins are in an awkward situation

(Season 2, Episodes 10-12)
I’ve had some problems with several episodes this season, and quite frankly, midway through I was not looking forward to season 3. I just find Nancy so fundamentally unlikeable, that I was having a hard time with the entire premise of the show. However, Doug and Celia’s affair, and the introduction of Kat really kept it going for me. Plus, the season finale is phenomenal and has really gotten me jazzed for the next season.
2×10 “Mile Deep and A Foot Wide”
This episode was pretty awesome. Mainly because Celia and Doug are still cheating on their respective spouses together and watching police camera footage instead of porn. They’re kind of amazingly perfect for each other, and I hope it lasts for a while. I’m afraid Celia may be feeling a little guilty though, so I’m hoping she can push past it.
Diary of a Weeds Virgin – Nancy is bugging me. Doug and Celia FTW!

(Season 2, Episodes 7-9)
While I like this set of episodes a lot more than I liked the last three, I am really starting to hate Nancy. I just flat-out do not understand her motivation in anything she does. She’s childish, selfish, and just seems utterly incapable of making anything other than ridiculously bad decisions.
The supporting cast continues to make this show for me — especially Doug and Celia. Their interactions are golden, and the last episode of this batch, in his office? I loved every second of it. This is what’s keeping me coming back for more. Well, that and I’m committed to this Virgin Diary, but whatever. I can’t wait to see what happens with those two.
Diary of a Weeds Virgin – massage parlors and strap-ons
(Season 2, Episodes 4-6)
This batch of episodes really wasn’t great for me. I really enjoy the comic relief that Andy brings to the Botwin household, but the whole massage parlor storyline really rubbed me the wrong way (HA!). Plus, the Silas/Megan storyline went to a weird place, and I pretty much lost all understanding of Peter. There were some high points (again, I SLAY me), but overall, I find myself starting to like Nancy less and less.
2×04 “AKA The Plant”
First and foremost, with a campaign slogan like “Change: it just brings problems,” I would probably vote for dumbass Doug as well. Overall, though, this is my least favorite episode of the series so far. It was just generally kind of boring. They devoted a lot of time to building the grow house, which was mildly amusing at times, but mostly just dragged.
Diary of a Weeds Virgin – Season 2: self-sabotage abounds

(Season 2, Episodes 1-3)
I’m starting season 2 of Weeds, and I’m still definitely digging the show. It is a bit daunting, however, knowing that I have so far to go in order to catch up, but it’s the summer, and isn’t that what summers are for? In this installment, I watch the first three episodes in which Silas is the most annoying person in Agrestic, Sanjay rocks my world, and Nancy makes some questionable parenting decisions.
Episode 2×01: “Corn Snake”
What I like about the start of season 2 is that each character has his or her own thing going on. There were points in the beginning of the series where I felt like some of the characters were wasted, especially Celia. However, I love how the whole cancer thing has kind of made her go off the rails a little bit. Plus, pitting her against Doug in the City Council race is genius; I only hope they have to debate.
