Shonda Rhimes’ new pilot and no blog for Rosie – News or Not?
It’s all over the cyber-news: Rosie O’Donnell has announced that she will no longer update her blog. Is this news?
To me, it’s not. Frankly, I didn’t even know she had a blog. I catch enough of her rantings through the little tidbits that make the news when she opens her mouth and sticks her foot in it publicly; I don’t need to read them every day. To her two or three fans, though, this is probably devastating, perhaps even life-altering.
The Osbournes’ or John Mayer’s variety show? – CliqueClack Poll
As if Rosie didn’t bomb badly enough with the revival of the variety show, now she’s got a couple of other celebs nipping at her heels, hoping to succeed where Rosie Live! miserably failed.
The Osbournes’ new variety show, The Osbournes: Reloaded, which was announced this summer, is soon to debut on FOX by late winter or early spring. It reunites the whole family — Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly — in a one-hour combination of music, sketch comedy, audience interaction and more. The first episode is in the can, having been filmed on December 7.
Now, it’s just been announced that John Mayer has his own variety show in the works for CBS, on which he aims to highlight “true talent;” surely this is a dig at Rosie O’Donnell’s fiasco of contortionists and dancing food. We’ll be seeing this show later this season as well, with a similar deal Rosie got — one episode, expanded to six if it does well.
Ratings Clack – Jack is back, but Rosie won’t be

(11/23 – 11/29)
It really wasn’t a good week for television, for the viewers, or the networks. The holiday had schedules shuffled all about, and actual new content was a little tougher to come by. The story of the week, of course, was the return of Jack Bauer, briefly. FOX let loose with their 24 event movie, and the results were impressive. Having less success with a big event, thankfully, was NBC with Rosie Live. The show tanked, and will not be getting an order of more episodes. Those numbers, the crazy ratings for the DWTS finale, and much less talk about Heroes, after the jump.
