Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – We get to see some of Jesse’s past… from the future

Aren’t two part episodes supposed to have a big cliffhanger? I mean as compelling as watching Jesse shift the lamp on her end table, it isn’t exactly going to be haunting my dreams until next week. Yes, the interesting flashback (or is that flashforward?) did have more to reveal, but did that warrant a “to be continued?” I suppose it’s a very small thing, so I’ll stop griping.
It was nice to see Weaver again, wasn’t it? I hadn’t realized how much I missed the creepy red-headed terminator. She seemed almost giddy over the progress of John Henry. It got me wondering if all that progress is going to go anywhere this season, or if we’ll have to wait for next season to see any Weaver/Connor/John Henry confrontation. I’m certainly optimistic, aren’t I? Some may say delusional….
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – Cameron is twitchy; Girl fights rule
Well, it seems like Cameron may still be a bit broken. I fear, and I think she does too, that it may go a little deeper than her hand twitching. Summer Glau was extra robot-creepy this week. In particular, the shot of Cameron slicing her wrist open to get to her twitchy parts was quite disturbing.
It seems like Cameron’s programming is getting a little twitchy, though, not just her hand. There were several times when she asked, “what am I going to do with you?” and I think that she was honestly confused. She didn’t know how to react to the bird that she had caught or to Riley. It’s going to be interesting to see how (and if) Cameron continues to break down and whether or not John will ever have to face using his nifty little pocket watch destructo-button.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – Sarah can’t sleep

They don’t call the show The Sarah Connor Chronicles for nothing! The past few weeks have certainly reminded us that this is Sarah’s show. Lena Heady carried this episode. Heck, she had too, she was practically the only person in it. Since Terminator has returned from (a way too long) hiatus, it has focused a lot on Sarah. I love Lena Heady as Sarah. To be honest, she’s my favorite part of the show, but even I’ve had enough at this point.
It’s time to see what’s been going on with Jesse and Riley. It’s time to give Cameron something to do, perhaps some asses that she can kick. It’s time to go deeper into the John Henry/Ellison/Weaver story. As much as I love mopey Sarah, it’s time for something else.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – With lots of deaths comes lots of funerals
After Weaver went nuts, killing everyone in the warehouse/factory and then blowing it up for good measure, it’s only natural that there would be several funerals. I just wasn’t expecting to see any of these funerals.
Loss was a huge theme this week, being paralleled with the many services for all the murdered workers, along with the anniversary of Weaver’s husband’s death. Shirley Manson continues to do a pretty good job in her role as a Terminator. She’s got the creepy, emotionless robot thing down pat, as was evidenced when she was trying to comfort her grieving daughter. I think it can all be summed up when she asked her assistant to “find her daughter and her bring her” to her. It implied that she had no idea where her daughter even was. Creepy.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – Sarah and Kyle Reese are reunited
It’s nice to have Terminator back, isn’t it? It’s been a while, and I certainly hope the long lay off and the switch to the time slot of doom won’t kill the show completely. In any case, I’m going to be enjoying this final batch of episodes of the season.
This week’s episode saw Sarah waking up in the hospital with a bullet buried in her leg from the cliffhanger back in December. The really interesting part of the situation, however, were the visions of Kyle Reese that Sarah had throughout the episode. We know Sarah’s not the most mentally stable individual in the world, but this whole thing seems like the writers were borrowing from Battlestar Galactica.
A Visit from Kevin Reilly (The Night Before Upfronts) – the whole shebang

‘Twas the night before upfronts, and to the set of House
Came an unexpected visit, by the one Peter Krause
“You think you’re so safe!” warned the unemployed actor
“At FOX no one’s safe, when Kevin Reilly’s a factor!”
The cast and the crew were confused by the warning
Until now they’d felt sure they’d be renewed the next morning
“But why, you are asking, should you listen to me?
“Since Dirty Sexy Money wasn’t on FOX, but ABC?”
A Visit from Kevin Reilly (The Night Before Upfronts), part four
OK, here’s the next installment of our cumulative poem. After Peter Krause shows up at the FOX studios with a list of canceled FOX shows for sale, things get ugly. The cast of Terminator and Fringe show their true colors, and Bones and House actors have their nerves in a jangle too. So our epic tale continues to unfold ….
Then just like that, Hugh snatched the note and he ran.
Down the hall he went screaming, “I have me a plan!”
Peter Krause just stood there looking awfully lame.
“Damn, I forgot he doesn’t really use the cane.”
