Diary of Supernatural Virgin – Season two ends with answers and questions

Season 2, episodes 20-22
You all told me that the ending of season two was spectacular. Don’t worry, I believed you, but it was so amazing to finally experience it myself. Jensen Ackles just keeps upping the game. Dean has become one of the most three-dimensional, complex, well-acted characters on television. Can’t wait to see what he does in the next two seasons! I’m hoping Supernatural will develop the trusting puppy a bit more as well … er, I mean Sam.
One thing I should have seen coming: “All Hell Breaks Loose” literally. Ah, I should have known! OK, let’s get right to it.
Supernatural – Got your lunch? Books? Butterfly knife?

(Season 4, Episode 13 – “After School Special”)
This week, the Winchester boys go back to one of their many high schools, and the result was not at all what I expected. Perhaps it’s because I saw the promo pics with Coach Dean in his ridiculous gym shorts. Whatever the case, I was expecting something much more lighthearted and goofy. Instead, it was a trip down memory lane, and as is so often the case, not all of those memories are pleasant. That’s not all bad though. It did give us another peek at just what made Sam and Dean into the people they are today. Read the rest of this entry »
Diary of a Supernatural Virgin – Darkness, death, clowns and vamps

(Season 2, Episodes 1-3)
Oh, Supernatural, how I have missed you so. My loyalties have been divided between my duties at CliqueClack, which require me keeping up with that pesky current television, and my new guilty pleasure, the Winchester boys. Well, tonight, duties be damned … I’m watching a Supernatural marathon, so bring on season two!
I seriously can’t believe I have let weeks go by without watching the resolution of the season one cliffhanger. I just knew if I started that I might not have the willpower to watch a reasonable amount of episodes. Here I am again, on the emotional roller-coaster of Supernatural, enjoying the heartbreaking dysfunction of the Winchester family, the comedic relief (thanks, Dean!) and the lessons learned along the way.
We finally know what Grey’s Anatomy’s Denny is up to … or do we?
Aside from all of the other incredible awesomeness that was last week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, we finally got some answers as to why Denny’s been hanging around. “I’m here for you, Izzie Stevens.” Yeah, I was getting kind of sick of hearing that, even though it was cute when Izzie first started seeing dead Denny.
So why was Izzie still seeing Denny after she “broke up” with him? Handsome, quirky, dead Denny is now the angel of death for Izzie, or so it seems. Really? The angel of death? I’ve got a few theories as to how this one could play out….
Grey’s Anatomy – Lexie breaks Sloan’s penis, Denny makes sense

(Season 5, Episode 12 – “Stairway to Heaven”
)
“I believe in Heaven … I also believe in Hell. I’ve never seen either, but I believe they exist. They have to exist, because without a Heaven, without a Hell, we’re all just headed for limbo.” – Denny’s voiceover
Holy Talomey, what an episode! We had people cracking up all over the place, and I was gripped, GRIPPED I tell you. And Denny’s ominous words, “I’m here for you, Izzie Stephens,” now make sense. I think.
So it’s looking like maybe Izzie’s got that brain tumor … or something … we’ve all been speculating about. But whether she’ll actually succumb to it or not remains to be seen. You know, Denny could have helped her figure it out sooner. It might be too late now. I totally understand why she was ticked at him.
Diary of a Supernatural Virgin – I finished season one!
(Season one, Episodes 18-22)
Ah, thank you to all the … ahem … enthusiastic Supernatural fans who have been spurring me on, following my Diary of a Supernatural Virgin, waiting anxiously for me to finish season one. It’s happened, and I’m left with mixed feelings.
I loved being able to plow through season one so quickly, and as the episodes passed, my love for Supernatural grew, in part because I got to watch the evolution in such a short amount of time. There’s nothing I’d change about the direction this show has taken. My mixed feelings come in because, now that new programming has finally hit the airwaves after the winter hiatus, I know season two will go much more slowly for me! And it’s going to be really hard not to tune in to season four when it starts up again, but I will do my best to stay away because I really do want to watch Supernatural in order.
So let’s get to it….
Diary of a Weeds virgin – What? The suburbs aren’t perfect?

(Season 1, Episodes 1-5)
Here’s the thing about Weeds: I’ve had no interest. It was easy enough to avoid it when it premiered, since people weren’t yet taking Showtime’s original programming seriously and I couldn’t even afford Showtime in the first place. As time has gone on and awards have been won, I’ve had more and more friends tell me that I have to watch it. I have Netflix, so I’ve been able to watch it for quite a while; I’ve just chosen not to.
I understand that it’s well-written and well-acted. It has Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing a dead dude (who isn’t having gh0st sex with his very alive ex-fiancee!) and Mary-Louise Parker. What more can you ask for? Well, yes. All of that sounds good on paper, but I have one major problem with the show: I find potheads really annoying.
