Clearly TPTB over at Castle have been reading our posts. Keith may have stated that Castle needs more poker games, but I do believe I have begged and pleaded in nearly every one of my Castle posts that I long to see the poker games become a regular thing. Well, I got my wish tonight … sort of.

(Season 4, Episode 28 – “Portsmouth Lighthouse” – Season Finale)

Finally, the episode of Ghost Hunters that I got to see filmed back in October aired tonight. I was definitely curious to see how two nights of shooting would translate into an hour-long show. As it turns out, there’s a bit of stuff I was surprised they wound up having to cut.

As I said, this episode was shot throughout two nights, which I don’t believe was mentioned on the show. I honestly have a hard time recalling who was where on each night, but everyone got to investigate every part of the fort and lighthouse. So, for example, Steve and Tango did investigate the lighthouse at least once, but we never saw it.

In defense of Ghost Hunters

I frickin’ love this time of year. In New England, the air is crisp, the leaves are changing and — at least for old farts like me — I don’t have that pain-in-the-ass thing called “school” to tie my stomach up in knots anymore (ignore me kids — stay in school!)

With this time of year comes Halloween, and unlike Christmas — which seems to last for-freaking-ever — this “holiday” comes and goes too fast. So, as soon as the paper witches and orange-colored bags of candy appear in the aisles of drugstores across the country, it’s Halloween in my eyes.

So, on that note, let’s talk Ghost Hunters.
