To me, Molly Ringwald will always be that funky-dressing chick from the wrong side of the tracks in Pretty in Pink, the enviable sixteen-year-old who got to kiss Michael Schoeffling a.k.a. Jake Ryan, in Sixteen Candles, and the sushi-eating rich girl in The Breakfast Club.

It seems that she’s old enough to be a mom of two teenage girls now — when did that happen?
