Battlestar Galactica: The Plan – CliqueClack Preview

It’s been about seven months since we’ve seen a new episode of Battlestar Galactica. Sound like a long time? Well, actually, that’s about the same amount of time we had to wait to see the second half of the fourth season after the first half aired, so for BSG fans, this isn’t new. I’m talking, of course, about the upcoming direct-to-DVD (and online video) release of Battlestar Galactica: The Plan.
An official copy of the DVD arrived on my doorstep yesterday, and despite having a buttload of TV to watch, I couldn’t wait to give it a watch. So, here’s an early review of the movie with little to no spoilers, which is an easy task since there’s really nothing shocking or spoiler-worthy to worry about.
How I Met Your Mother season four – CliqueClack Giveaway
Last season of How I Met Your Mother had some definite highlights. Remember The Naked Man? How about The Stinsons? Intervention? All classics in my book. So, how’d you like to own all of those on DVD? Because we’ve got one sitting here, ready to find a new home.
Two giveaways in one day?! Too good to be true? Nope!
All you need to do is tell us your favorite moment from How I Met Your Mother. How much easier can it be than that?
The Unit season four and complete series DVDs – CliqueClack Giveaway
The Unit had a lot of potential, seeing as how it was created by The Shield’s Shawn Ryan. But, for me, it may be because it wasn’t on a cable network like FX that I lost interest in it early on. Not that it’s a bad show at all! In fact, it lasted a respectable four seasons on CBS.
The fourth and final season of The Unit was just released on DVD and is available in stores today, and so is a complete series gift set featuring all four seasons. Well, I’ve got good news for you: we’re giving away one copy of each to random commenters to this post (one recipient of each DVD set).
Sanctuary season one DVD – CliqueClack Giveaway
Maybe you don’t agree with Jason’s last review of Sanctuary, or maybe you simply never caught the show in the first place and want to get in on the season one action. If either of those classify you, we’ve got five bits of good news for you. How does five copies of Sanctuary season one on DVD sound? Well, one to each random five of you, that is.
Marvel X-Men, volumes 3 & 4 – CliqueClack Giveaway

Maybe you were one of the lucky winners in our previous giveaway of volumes 1 & 2 of this series, or maybe you just already have volumes 1 & 2 on your own. And then there’s of course a possibility that you’re just not interested in the first two volumes and just want these two (I mean, the third volume does contain the Dark Phoenix saga, which is ultra-cool). In any case, here’s your chance to get both copies, together!
Marvel X-Men volumes 3 & 4 are available on DVD starting today, and we’ve got one set (one of each volume) to give away to one lucky, random commenter to this post. Just tell us why you want the set!
Dexter season three DVD – What you get
The third season of Dexter was released on DVD late last month, and I got a chance to take a look at it. This release actually comes at a very good time, as the fourth season doesn’t start until September 27, giving anyone plenty of time to catch up who hasn’t done so already.
When you think about it, if you’re paying for a cable network just for one show, like Dexter, your money’s probably better spent waiting for the show on DVD and then having it to own. But then there’s the whole bothersome thing called “spoilers,” and how you have to resort to living in a cave and disconnected from the Internet to avoid them.
