Big Brother – Will Dan’s duplicity catch up with him?

Ian pulls out another back-to-back win on 'Big Brother,' but will he finally catch on to Dan's game before it's too late?

- Season 14, Episode 26

Ian makes it to the Final Four

Well, after all of the excitement last week with another Big Brother double eviction — and no one taking my advice to form a new alliance against Dan — we found out who won the second HOH of the night (well, those who don’t subscribe to the live feeds): Ian! The boy has become a serious contender in the last few weeks, and now he’s finding himself to be a huge threat to everyone else in the house, especially Dan.

In another of those really interesting behind-the-scenes episodes (meaning, not much else has happened since Thursday’s show), we got to see what really happened when Dan won HOH and nominated Ian as the proverbial pawn against Jenn. What no one knew Thursday was what we all got to see tonight — Dan actually wanted Ian out because he’s really his biggest threat, and Ian (like Frank before him), thinks he has a solid final two deal with Dan. Really, Ian? Is Dan really that good of a mind game player to completely make you forget that he had a hand in not only getting Frank out the door, but Boogie as well. And he completely sold Ian and Britney out to save his own hide, which led to Britney’s eviction. Why on earth would you even consider trusting him to go to the final two at this point, especially if Danielle is still in the house?

But with Ian’s POV and HOH wins, he’s got the perfect chance now to take out his biggest threat, and it ain’t Shane. Or Jenn. No jury member will ever award them the prize unless they have to. But Dan still worked his magic and escaped nominations, but how long can he stay safe … especially after Saturday’s POV competition? It all comes down to who wins that, and I have the answer if you’re so inclined to find out. Will Danielle’s admission to Shane that she saved his ass have an impact on his nomination? Will Jenn, who must realize that she absolutely cannot trust Dan, spill the beans to Ian that he was the real target in order to save herself? Sooner or later, someone is going to have to rat out Dan because, at the moment, he’s got everyone bamboozled with his Jedi mind tricks! I just hope Ian will be able to snap out of it and see what Dan’s really been up to … or wait for Dan to make another slip like he did with Frank before he was evicted. Come on, Ian, wake up!

Don’t forget to tune in Wednesday night for a special eviction episode.

Spoiler Alert! The POV competition was held Saturday, and the winner was …

Shane. So Shane will be coming off the block, but who does Ian nominate? Will Jenn and Shane tell him that he was really Dan’s target, or will he go for Danielle instead to make sure Jenn goes to jury? Or, will Dan convince Shane that he’s safe and not use the Veto on the promise that Jenn is evicted? Dan’s that good, and Shane might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, so I can see Shane ending up getting blind-sided if Dan tells Danielle to vote him out. She could refuse though, and leave the dirty work to Ian by making it a tie. We’ll update once the POV ceremony is held.

The POV ceremony was held Monday and

Shane used the POV on himself. Ian’s replacement nominees was Dan..ielle! I guess Dan is that good. I would assume Jenn is out Wednesday, and we’ll see Ian on the block with his only hope of survival winning the Veto.

I’m just happy I don’t have to listen to Joe yell at me anymore!

I’d be even happier if Dan wasn’t yelling at us anymore as well!

I imagine there will be a lot of extra yelling when the contestants watch the episodes and realize how much Dan played them up!

Dan is incredible. It’s funny that the only way he got on the show in the first place was to play his mind games on the casting committee, lying to them about what kind of person he was. I’d sure hate to be one of his students!

. . . . .

While doing dishes Sunday evening, this was on in the background.

Most.

Annoying.

Host.

Ever.

And … he talks to everyone as if they’re four year olds …

Who are you referring to??

. . . . .

I wasn’t paying rapt attention, Chuck, so I’m not certain of who it was. During one competition, where players had to maneuver a ball into numbered slots, the guy would say something to the effect of “so and so’s ball landed in number 20 giving him 3 deduction points for a total of 13″ or somesuch. Was he a/the host of the show?

Dude was about the equivalent of SJP in Sex And The City

Oh. That was just one of the House Guests who wasn’t playing in the competition. Not a pro by any stretch. Julie Chen is the show’s host, but she’s generally only there for the live shows on Thursday.
