This week was a hell of a lot funnier than the past few episodes, picking fun of a show that totally deserves it: Discovery’s Whale Wars. The show’s “star,” Paul Watson, has been criticized plenty of times for lying for his cause, and his “reality” show has been called a sham by many. To see a big fat “TURD” on an actual photo of Watson hanging in the “Sea Shepherd,” then the rest of the Whale Warriors being called “incompetent, vegan pussies doing absolutely nothing and turning it into drama” was gold. Unfortunately I know a few other shows like that.

Let’s not forget another appearance of Guitar Hero with the hilarious rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” by Cartman, playing as a montage of Stan’s Real Whale Wars took place.
The icing on the cake was Stan’s dad, when the Japanese decided to stab, mutilate and eviscerate all the “real” ones responsible for dropping the bomb on Hiroshima, the chickens and cows: “Great job, Stan. Now the Japanese are normal, like us.”
Damn, I’d hate to be the guys who were really piloting that plane….

Nah, that’s not an official video. Poker Face is not currently in either Guitar Hero or Rock Band games, but you can tell that Kyle and Kenny’s instruments are Rock Band products.
Definitely Rock Band. You can tell because the hits are square as opposed to circles in GH.
The photo of Paul Watson used in the Whale Wars episode was mine. I made it 3 weeks ago at a Surfrider Event in Los Angeles. I saw Paul walking up to the event and he tried to circumvent the red carpet. I saw the potential for a great shot and called Paul out and convinced him to walk the red carpet. None of the other wire photographers there realized the magnitude of douche we were dealing with. The shot that Southpark used was a long shot down the carpet with a 70-200 2.8 lens. To say I was shocked when I saw my picture used on Southpark was an understatment. Thanks again Matt for using my photo. You totally made my week. I owe you one mate.
