“Season one? Don’t you mean series?” Unfortunately for this show, I believe you’re correct. I don’t believe CBS ever gave Swingtown a formal renewal, though I don’t believe it’s been formally canceled either. One of Swingtown’s main cast members, Grant Show, recently said in an interview with TV Guide that he was pretty sure the show was through, since their contracts were up this month.
In any case, now you can own what looks to be the complete series of Swingtown on DVD (though it’s formally called “season one”)! The set is available in stores starting today.
