See Jane Clack – The Observer, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and the Fox News girls

Fox

Fox

This week, my brain clacked about The Observer, Madonna the hypocrite, and so much more. See if you agree with my thoughts:

The Observer is a stroke of genius. Not only are viewers tuning into Fringe every week to catch a glimpse of him, they’re recording the show and playing it back to find him (note: he was in the German airport in this week’s episode). My son actually text’d me from school on Wednesday, because he and his buddies were talking about Fringe. Remember the line in this week’s episode, “Where does the gentleman live?” My son thinks The Observer is the gentleman, and he lives in Little Hill. If only we knew what or where Little Hill is. Some place deep in the earth’s core, perhaps?

The girls on Fox News are all cute, blonde and skinny. Why is this? I have some theories: 1) It’s in Bill O’Reilly‘s contract; 2) Because the network is named Fox, all the women have to BE foxes; and 3) The girls actually come in plump, brunette models, but are given magic makeovers that turn them into skinny blondes (Criss Angel on staff, perhaps?).

I can’t watch Ghost Whisperer anymore. There’s no doubt it’s a great show, but it’s just way too sad for me on a regular basis. I discovered Ghost Whisperer last year and was drawn to it every Friday night, but I’ve had a hard time watching it lately. Not only does it make me look for ghosts everywhere in my own life, but I’m always weeping by the end of the show. There are so many emotional stories about the people who died and the ones left behind. Gonna have to let you go, Ghost Whisperer. Already have enough drama in my own life.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan must have a death-clause in his contracts. He’s currently stalking Izzie on Grey’s Anatomy, he plays Nancy Botwin’s dead husband on Weeds, and his Comedian character in Watchmen might end up dying, as well. What’s the scoop with your dead characters, Jeffrey?

Madonna’s a hypocrite. Yeah, like that’s a big news flash. You can’t turn on a decent celeb gossip show without hearing about Madonna’s new fixation. She’s apparently issued strict orders to Guy Ritchie about the kids’ visits: no TV, no non-organic food, no clothes she didn’t send with them, and so on and so forth. I wonder if they’re allowed to watch her Like a Virgin music video or her documentary, Truth or Dare. How about parenting by example, Madonna?
