CliqueClack has partnered with Lionsgate to offer readers in the Boston and Hartford areas an opportunity to attend an advance screening of the new action movie The Expendables 3 Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Kelsey Grammer, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Glen Powell, Victor Ortiz, Robert Davi, with Mel Gibson, with Harrison Ford, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill … or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

The screenings will take place Wednesday, August 13, 7:00 PM at the following locations:

  • AMC Boston Common, Boston
  • AMC Plainville, Hartford

A limited number of passes will be available through a random drawing. Please read and follow the rules in order to be eligible for this contest. There will be no exceptions!

  • Comment on this post with either BOSTON or HARTFORD. Nothing else. Any additional commentary will result in your entry being invalid.
  • You MUST include your FULL NAME — First AND Last — for verification purposes. Entries with only a first name or initials will be invalid.
  • ONE comment per person and/or email address. Multiple comments will result in disqualification. CliqueClack reserves the right to discard any and all duplicates or entries that appear to be duplicates. We want to keep these offers fair for everyone.
  • Contest period runs until 11:59 PM Friday, August 8. Winners will be selected Friday, August 8th and will be notified no later than Saturday, August 9th.
  • Winners will receive a unique code which is good for up to two Admit One passes.
  • In addition, one winner from each location will be selected at random to win an Expendables Prize Package which includes The Expendables and The Expendables 2 on DVD, a poster and an Expendables 3 T-shirt.

Please note that passes do not guarantee seats at the screening. Seating is first come, first served so plan to arrive early. CliqueClack has no control over the total number of passes distributed, and is not responsible for seating arrangements at the theater.
